2024 Copa America: Argentina beat Canada 2-0 to reach the final. Two goals from Lionel Messi were the difference as Argentina beat Canada in the semi-final. Messi scored his first goal in the 28th minute, finishing off a pass from Ángel Di María. He added his second in the 57th minute, converting a penalty after he was fouled by Canadian defender Kamal Miller.
Argentina will face Chile or Colombia in the final on July 10, 2024. Argentina is the defending champion, having won the tournament in 2021 and 2023. Canada was making its first appearance in the Copa América semi-finals since 2007
