Sequel Finally Coming to Fruition After 18 Years
After years of anticipation, a sequel to the iconic 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada is finally in the works at Disney.
Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt in Talks to Return
Exciting news for fans of the original film: Meryl Streep is currently in talks to reprise her role as the intimidating editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. Emily Blunt, who portrayed the ambitious assistant Emily Charlton, is also in talks to return.
Based on Lauren Weisberger's Book Sequels
The sequel will draw inspiration from the book sequels to The Devil Wears Prada, namely "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns" and "When Life Gives You Lulu Lemons." Both books offer a glimpse into the lives of Miranda and Emily after the events of the original film.
